General Information

Tempered hardboard is manufactured from plantation grown eucalyptus fibers that produce a very high quality panel. Standard hardboard is manufactured from willow and radiata pine fibers that produce a standard grade panel.

General Description

Hard, smooth faced wood product. Very versatile for general applications.

Characteristics

Tempered: 1,000 to 1,080 kilograms per cubic meter density.
Standard: 850 to 1,000 kilograms per cubic meter density.

Most Common Uses

Case goods, cabinet backs, drawer bottoms, garage liners, and automotive side and door panels.
